You can remove your bill from Flex at any time. Only remove your bill if you’re sure you won’t be using Flex again.
Important to know before removing your bill
- Once you remove your bill, you won’t be able to reapply.
- If you have an outstanding balance, you must pay it before removing your bill.
- Removing your bill from Flex will close your line of credit.
The steps to remove your bill in the Flex app depend on how your bill is paid. Find the option below that matches your bill experience.
If Flex handles your bill
If you only want to stop using Flex temporarily, you may not need to remove your bill.
Instead, you can turn off bill autopay.
When bill autopay is off:
- You’re not automatically charged your 1st payment.
- You can choose not to use Flex for that billing cycle.
- Your credit line remains open for future use.

To remove your bill:
- Open the Flex app.
- On the Bills tab, look in your Connected Bills and select the Bill you want to remove
- Tap the Settings icon in the top righthand corner
- Tap Remove Bill
- If you have an outstanding balance, select Pay balance.
- Confirm your choice.
- Follow the link to your service provider’s website or exit the Flex app.
If you pay your bill using a Flex provided bank account
If you may want to use Flex again in the future, you don’t have to remove your bill.
You can simply begin paying your bill using your own payment method instead. Your Flex provided bank account details will remain available if you decide to use Flex again later.
To remove your bill:
- Open the Flex app
- On the Settings tab, tap on Bills and payments.
- On the bottom of the screen, tap Remove bill.
- Tap Yes, remove bill to confirm.
