This article is for customers whose bill is handled directly by Flex. Not sure which experience you have? How does my bill get paid with Flex and what do I need to do?

Flex’s connection with your service provider allows us to receive your bill details, including the bill amount and due date, directly from your provider. These details should automatically update in the Flex app every 12 hours.
Just connected your account? Your balance may take up to 12 hours to appear in the app for the first time. If you see a pending state on your bill during this time, that's expected — no action needed.
You don't need to log in to your provider's website or pay them directly. Once your 1st payment to Flex is processed, your upcoming bill will be handled automatically.
Mortgage and auto bills: Your balance and due date are retrieved from your provider and may take a few days to update after your provider posts your bill. If the amount shown looks off, check back before your due date. Once your payment is submitted through Flex, it may take up to 1 business day to appear in your provider's portal.
When using Flex to pay your bills, there are a few key dates in your billing cycle to keep in mind:
| 1st payment date |
Date that your 1st payment is paid to Flex and your bill payment is initiated.
|
| Bill payment date |
Date that the bill amount is paid to your service provider.
|
| Bill due date |
This is the due date set by your provider.
|
| 2nd payment date |
Date that your 2nd payment is paid to Flex.
|
These dates will always be available to you in the Flex app. You will also receive your Billing Statement each cycle via email.
