If you're on a pay over time plan and a Move-in repayment doesn’t go through, don’t worry — Flex will notify you right away by email and in the app. There are no late fees, but it’s important to resolve any missed payments quickly to stay eligible for future Move-in plans.
If you have autopay turned on, Flex will automatically retry your payment up to six times within 30 days. You can also make the payment manually at any time in the app. Simply open the Flex app to review the balance due and tap Make payment to submit it.
If your card caused the payment to fail — for example, due to insufficient funds or expiration — update your payment method in the Flex app before your next due date to prevent further issues.
Here's how to update your card in the app:
- Navigate to your Flex app
- Tap Payment methods
- Click Change next to your old card information
- Enter your new card info and click Add
Flex Move-in payments aren’t reported to credit bureaus, so missing a payment won’t impact your credit score. However, unpaid balances may affect your ability to use Flex for future Move-in or Rent plans.
