Why You’re Seeing an "Overdue Rent" Service Issue?
This service issue appears when your rent bill includes past-due charges from a previous month. Flex cannot pay your current month’s rent until those overdue charges are paid directly to your property.
Example: If your November rent bill includes any unpaid charges from October, Flex won’t be able to pay your November rent until the October balance is cleared.
How to Resolve it?
To resolve this issue, you’ll need to:
1. Pay the overdue balance directly to your property
2. Do this before 3 PM ET on the 5th of the month, which is Flex’s deadline for submitting your rent
You can check your rent bill or rent ledger (usually found in your property’s rent portal) to confirm what’s owed.
Flex will automatically check your bill daily. As soon as the overdue balance is cleared, Flex will resume the rent process—you won’t need to take any additional steps in the app.
