Why you’re seeing an "frozen credit" service issue
This issue appears when your credit is frozen. A credit freeze is used to help protect you from fraud or identity theft and prevents companies from checking your credit until the freeze is removed.
This can happen if you placed a freeze in the past, were part of a data breach, or added a freeze for extra security. A frozen credit report doesn’t mean there’s a problem with your account—it just needs to be unfrozen before you can continue signing up for Flex Rent.
How to resolve it
You can fix this issue by following the instructions in the email you receive.
Step 1: Check your email and follow the steps provided to unfreeze your credit
Step 2: Return to the Flex app and tap Check credit again. It may take some time for the unfreeze to update. If it doesn’t show right away, please wait a short time and try again.
Step 3: Wait while Flex retries your credit check
Step 4: Once your credit is successfully unfrozen, continue signing up
