If your Flex account is under review, you may be asked to complete income verification to confirm continued eligibility.
This article explains why income verification may be required, how to complete it, and what happens next.
Why income verification may be required
If your account is under review, we may need to verify your income and financial information to determine whether you meet the requirements to continue using Flex.
Income verification allows us to reassess eligibility based on your recent deposit history.
How to verify your income
If income verification is required, you’ll see a prompt in the Flex app and receive an email notification.
To verify your income, you’ll:
- Enter your annual income
- Securely link your bank account so Flex can review your recent deposit history
- Submit your information for review
Bank linking is the only accepted method for income verification during an account review.
Make sure your bank connection includes accurate and up-to-date deposit information, as this will directly impact the outcome of the review.
What to expect after submission
After you submit your income information, you’ll see a status update directly in the Flex app and receive an email confirming we received your submission.
In most cases, Flex will complete the review within five business days. You’ll receive another email once the review is finished.
Depending on the outcome:
- If your income meets the eligibility criteria, you’ll be able to continue using Flex without interruption.
- If your income does not qualify, or if you do not complete the process by the deadline, your Flex Rent credit line may be suspended.
If your account is suspended, you’ll receive an email with more details about the decision.
