Linking your bank account is the only method Flex uses to verify your income. This secure process allows us to review your financial information and assess your eligibility for Flex services.
Requirements
- The name on the linked bank account must match your Flex account.
- TD Bank, Citibank, and Citizens Bank are not supported.
- If you are using a shared bank account for rent payments, you must be a Joint Owner; otherwise, accounts not in your name are not eligible.
- Business bank accounts are not eligible for income verification.
How to Link Your Bank Account
If you're signing up for Flex:

- Open the Flex app and look for a screen similar to the example below.
- Click "Continue to Connect" to begin linking your bank account.
- Follow the prompts to securely log in to your bank account.
- Confirm that the linked account information is accurate and complete.

If your account is under review:
- Go to the Income Verification email we sent you (it will look similar to the image below).
- From the email, click "Verify Income" and select the option to link your bank account.
- Follow the prompts to securely log in to your bank account.
- Confirm your account details are correct, complete all prompts, and submit your information. You’ll see a confirmation screen when finished.

What Happens Next?
After you’ve linked your account, Flex will review your financial information. You’ll receive a decision via email within 3–5 business days.
Common Issues
- Make sure your bank is supported.
- The name on your bank account must match your Flex account.
- Disable any popup blockers if you’re having trouble loading the login screen.
