Understanding the Process
When you apply to use Flex, your financial situation plays a key role in determining your eligibility. As part of your application, you may be asked to verify your income. Income verification allows Flex to understand your financial profile by evaluating your income as an additional factor to determine if the service is a good fit for your needs.
How to Complete Income Verification
During the sign-up process, Flex may request that you verify your income before approving your application and creating your account. You can verify your income by either linking your bank account or uploading recent paystubs. This secure process enables us to review your financial information and make a final decision.
To ensure your eligibility, it’s important to provide accurate and up-to-date documentation. You’ll have 30 days to complete the income verification process from the time it’s offered to you. If you don’t submit the required documentation within this timeframe, no additional review will be conducted and your application will not be approved at that time. For more information about what happens when your account is denied, check out the “Not Approved?” article.
What to Expect After Submission
After submitting your income information, Flex will carefully review it and provide a decision within three business days. We’ll notify you via email about the outcome.
- If your income meets the approval criteria, you’ll be able to start using Flex and enjoy its benefits.
- If your income doesn’t meet the necessary standards, you’ll need to wait before reapplying.
Important: While waiting for Flex to review your submission, avoid restarting the sign-up process in the app. Doing so will cancel your existing application, and your income verification submission will be erased.
