At Flex, we assess your eligibility based on a few key factors—like your credit report, banking history, and payment behavior. Most approved customers have a fair or better credit profile and consistent financial activity.
You’ll always get a notice
If your application is denied, Flex will email you a Notice of Adverse Action (NOAA). This letter gives the reason for the decision and provides details about your credit profile. We recommend reviewing that email—it contains the most specific information about why your application wasn’t approved.
Can I apply again?
For Everyday Bills: Applicants who are not approved will not be able to reapply.
For Rent: Applicants who are not approved can reapply, but there’s a limit of two applications within any 60-day period.
- If this is your first or second application within that 60-day window, you can reapply right away.
- If you’ve already submitted two applications in the past 60 days, you’ll need to wait 60 days from the date of your first application before the Flex app will allow you to apply again.
This limit is in place to prevent repeated applications in a short timeframe, which can affect how your application is reviewed.
We know it can be disappointing not to get approved, but we encourage you to try again when you're eligible. Your chances may improve over time as your credit and financial history changes.
