Each month, once your rent is paid through Flex, you’ll unlock the ability to reschedule your 2nd payment directly in the Flex app.
You can choose any business day through the last day of the current month, and you may change the date as many times as needed. The new date applies only to this month’s second payment—your payment will return to its default date next month unless you request a permanent update.
Your Flex balance must be $0 by 11:59 PM ET on the last day of the month to continue using Flex for the following month.
How to do a one-time reschedule in the app
To update your 2nd payment date for the current month:
- Open the Flex app and go to your Home screen.
- Tap on your 2nd payment.
- Select Reschedule.
- Choose a new eligible date.
- Tap Confirm.
You must reschedule at least one business day before the new date you choose.

How to set a permanent or recurring 2nd payment date
If you want your 2nd payment to always fall on a specific date each month, our Support team can set this up for you.
Example: If your 2nd payment normally falls on the 15th but you’d prefer it to always be on the 20th going forward, Support can update that as your new permanent date.
To request a permanent change, just contact Support through the Flex app (Settings > Chat).
