Looking for an article with a different name? We've recently updated the names of some of our processes and updated our Help Center articles to make them easier to understand. If you followed a link from a Flex email and the article title looks different than expected, you're still in the right place! |
Why am I being asked to verify my information?
If you need to restore access to your Flex Rent membership, you will be asked to submit additional information to confirm continued eligibility for Flex Rent.
In some situations, we may need to review your financial information to confirm whether Flex Rent continues to be the best fit for you.
How do I verify my information?
If you need to verify your information, you'll see a prompt in the Flex app.
To proceed, you'll:
- Securely connect your personal bank account(s) through our trusted third-party provider, Plaid. We recommend that you use the account where most of your financial activity takes place.
- Submit your information for review.
We'll take a look at your recent transaction history and financial profile as part of this process.
Important notes:
- Once your information is submitted, it can't be edited or changed.
- Bank linking is the only accepted method for completing your account review.
- Make sure the personal bank account(s) you connect includes recent and accurate transaction history, as this information is used during the review process.
If you need help connecting your bank account, see our Bank account linking guidelines article.
What will I see in the app?
What happens after I submit my information?
After you submit your information, we'll review it and let you know right away if you're approved to reactivate your Flex Rent membership.
Depending on the outcome:
- If your information meets eligibility requirements, you'll be able to continue using Flex Rent without interruption.
- If requirements are not met, or if the review is not completed by the required deadline, your Flex Rent line of credit will remain suspended.
