At times, the rent bill amount we receive from your property may be notably higher or lower than the estimated rent amount you provided in the application or during onboarding. If such a situation occurs, we will promptly notify you of a service issue via email, SMS, or push notification. We’ll ask you to confirm the amount you’d like Flex to pay before we proceed with making your rent payment.
To confirm your balance, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Flex app and click on "View details" from your home screen to access the service issue.
- You'll see the rent bill amount we retrieved versus the estimated rent you provided.
- Confirm the exact amount you'd like Flex to pay by entering it into the provided box, then click “Update payment amount”.
Important Note: Be careful to enter the full amount you want paid to your property through Flex. For example, if you owe your property $1000 for your September rent, you should confirm that your bill is $1000. Confirming an amount that is higher or lower than your rent bill amount may result in an over or underpayment of your bill.
