Understanding Bill Payment And Card Processing Fees

Flex accepts repayment via debit cards and credit cards only. ACH or bank transfer payments are not accepted at this time.

For each payment, Flex collects a bill payment fee, which enables us to continuously improve our product and service. When using a debit card, a 1% fee will be applied for bill payment with no additional fee for card processing. When using a credit card, a total 3% fee will be applied for bill payment and card processing.

The bill payment and card processing fees are payable to Flex and assessed on each repayment. We spread out the fee amounts so half is charged with the 1st payment and the other half is paid with the 2nd payment.

Let's break down an example using a $1000 rent payment:

• If your rent amount is $1,000, the bill payment fee for a debit card would total $10.00 ($1,000 * 0.01). 
• If your rent amount is $1,000 and you pay with a credit card, the bill payment and card processing fees would total $30 ($1,000 * 0.03).
