Q: When can I sign up for Flex?
A: The best time to sign up for Flex is right now! Because of processing times between banks and Flex technology, the last day to sign up for Flex to cover your rent for the current month is the 3rd. After the 3rd, you will be signing up for Flex to cover your rent the following month!
Q: How does Flex pay my rent?
A: After successful activation, we will automatically pay your Rent bill when it is due. We pay directly to your property. Once your bill is paid, you pay us back in two installments - half when your rent is due on the first, and half two weeks later. You can manage these payments through the Flex app.
For example, if you have a rent bill for $1000 that’s due in 3 days, Flex will take care of the full amount on the due date.
Your first payment to us would be half of your rent, in this case $500. Your first payment is due the day your rent is due. Your second payment of the remaining $500 would be due two weeks later
In addition, after you make your first payment your second payment becomes Flexible! You can move your second payment to a day that works better for you! Read more on Rescheduling HERE
Q: How much is the Flex membership fee?
A: Flex gives you rent flexibility each month for a single $19.99 fee. There is never any interest fee or late fee with Flex.
Q: How does the repayment schedule work again?
A: It’s a question we get a lot! Here’s how it works:
- 1st installment: 50% of your rent amount, due on your rent due date.
- 2nd installment: 50% of your rent amount, due 2 weeks after the first installment.

Q: I have roommates, can Flex cover only my portion of the rent?
A: Yes! As long as you can make partial payments on your rent portal, Flex can pay just your portion of the rent.
After you sign up for Flex, please reach out to HERE and confirm the exact amount you want us to pay on your rent portal.
Q: Help, I missed a payment! Can I still use Flex?
A: Yes. You can continue to use Flex as long as you reschedule all missed payments. Full payment must be made during the same month as the missed payments, otherwise we will not be able to cover rent for any upcoming months.
