Flex pays your rent as soon as your rent bill is posted, typically between the last day of the prior month and the first 5 days of the current month. To ensure a successful rent payment, it is crucial to have funds available in your linked card by 1 pm ET on the 5th of the month. For instance, the last day Flex can pay your September rent is September 5th, the last day Flex can pay your October rent is on October 5th, etc.
During this payment window, we automatically check your linked card for available funds to authorize your 1st payment. If the funds are available by 1 pm ET on the 5th, we will proceed to process your rent payment in full directly to your property. This entire process is automated, which means you usually don't need to make any manual payments.
However, if we are unable to authorize your 1st payment by 1 pm ET on the 5th day of each calendar month, you won't be able to access Flex to pay your rent for that particular month. To avoid any disruption, make sure to have sufficient funds in your linked card during the specified time frame. This way, you can rely on Flex to take care of your rent payments smoothly and hassle-free.
