Each month, you pay us back in two payments - your 1st payment when your rent is due and the rest on the repayment date, typically the 15th of the month or your rescheduled date within the month.
To ensure a smooth processing of your rent payment by Flex, it's important to have the funds ready for your 1st payment. Therefore, rescheduling your 1st payment is not an option. However, we offer a convenient grace period until 3pm ET on the 5th of the month. Within this timeframe, you can add the necessary funds. Once your 1st payment is successfully processed, Flex will submit your rent payment. Remember, the sooner you add the funds, the sooner Flex can proceed with processing your rent payment.
Consider this scenario: If your 1st payment for March isn't available on March 1st, We’ll attempt your 1st payment up to six times until successful or until the 3pm ET cut-off on the 5th. After six attempts, automatic retries stop, and you will need to manually complete the payment in the Flex app by the rent payment cut-off. . The best part is that you don’t need to concern yourself with selecting the optimal day within the grace period – the reattempts occur seamlessly on their own. But, if you like being in control, you also have the option to handle the payment yourself through the app when you're ready. You can find more information on how to do this here.
Important reminder: If the funds for your 1st payment aren't available by 3pm on the 5th, Flex won't be able to proceed with your rent payment for that particular month. If this is the case, your credit line may be reduced or suspended and you will be responsible for paying rent directly to your property. You can read more about account suspensions here.
