Flex charges three fees: a monthly membership fee, a processing fee, and a split fee. Here's what each one covers and when it applies.

Membership fee
Your membership keeps your access to Flex, the ability to split rent, and positive rent reporting every month (when rent reporting is enabled in the app) — including months you don't split rent.
Processing fee
Covers submitting your full rent to your property. It's based on your total rent amount, not just your 1st payment.
Split fee
The cost of splitting your rent into two payments. It's based on how much you borrow for your 2nd payment — if you don't split rent that month, you won't pay it.
Credit card fee
If you pay with a credit card, a 2.5% surcharge applies to each payment made with that card.

No late fees or compounding interest
Flex does not charge late fees or compounding interest. Your exact pricing is always available in the Flex app before you pay. (Be sure to check your property’s policies to avoid late fees, as fees may still be assessed at your property’s discretion.)
