Uploading your paystubs is one of the methods Flex uses to verify your income. This lets you provide proof of your earnings for your application or account review.
Requirements
- Paystubs must be recent (within 30 days).
- Paystubs must include:
- Your Name
- Employer Name
- Gross & Net Pay
- Pay Date

- Pay Period or Start/End Dates

- For alternative income sources (e.g., Social Security), upload the latest Social Security Benefit Determination Letter from 2024, showing the date, your name, and the income amount.
- Non-paystub documents (e.g., W2s, Offer Letters, Employment Verification Letters,, etc.) are not accepted.
Step-by-Step Process For New Flex Applicants (Sign-Up)
- Open the Flex app and look for a screen similar to the example below.
- Click the “Upload Paystubs” link at the bottom of the screen.
- Follow the prompts to securely upload your paystubs.
- Click “Done” and wait for a response, which may be instant or take up to 3 days.

Step-by-Step Process For Existing Flex Customers (Account Review)
- Go to the Income Verification email we sent you (it will look similar to the image below).
- From the email, click "Verify Income" and select the option to upload your paystubs.
- Follow the prompts to securely upload paystubs.

What Happens Next?
After uploading your paystubs, Flex will review the documents. You will be notified via email within 3-5 business days about the outcome.
