What are Flex Funds?
Flex Funds is your built-in wallet in the Flex app, designed to help you budget and manage payments with ease. You can set aside money whenever it’s convenient, so you’re ready when it’s time to make a Flex payment.
How It Works:
- Add money to your Flex Funds balance..
- When it’s time to pay, your Flex Funds will be applied first before your default payment method is charged.
- Need flexibility? You can withdraw your fund if your plans change.
Example:
If your Flex payment is $1,000 and you have $500 in your Flex Funds balance, Flex will automatically apply $500 first, and the remaining $500 will be charged to your default payment method (your debit or credit card on file).
🚀 Currently, this feature is available to a select group of Flex customers, and we’re gradually expanding access over time!
Please note that Flex does not hold or store any customer funds. All funds are held by Lead Bank. All banking services are provided by Lead Bank.
Accessing Flex Funds
If you’ve been notified of early access to this feature, you can find it by navigating to: Settings > Payment Methods (or tap here)
Here, you’ll be able to add or withdraw funds to and from your Flex Funds balance.
Adding money to Flex Funds
You can add funds up to 5 times every 30 days. Here’s how:
1️⃣ Open your Flex app, go to Settings > Payment Methods (or tap here).
2️⃣ Click Add Funds.
3️⃣ Enter the amount.
4️⃣ To change the payment method, click Change (Only debit cards can be used, not credit cards.)
5️⃣ Hit Confirm.
✅ Once successful, you’ll receive a confirmation and see your updated Flex Funds balance.
Withdrawing money from Flex Funds
You can withdraw funds up to 3 times every 30 days. Here’s how:
1️⃣ Open your Flex app, go to Settings > Payment Methods (or tap here).
2️⃣ Click Withdraw.
3️⃣ Enter the amount.
4️⃣ To change the payment method, click Change (Only debit cards can be used, not credit cards.)
5️⃣ Hit Confirm.
✅ If successful, you’ll receive a confirmation, and your Flex Funds balance will decrease.
Withdrawals take 3-5 business days to be returned to your account.
