Adding a Flex bank account or debit card to your rent portal is simple! Just follow these steps to quickly add it and pay your rent.
Step 1: Find the Flex Bank Account or Debit Card Payment Method
When needed, Flex gives you a unique bank account or debit card, which you can view in the Flex app.
- For integrated properties, learn how to find the Flex bank account or debit card here: Submit Rent (Integrated Properties).
- For not integrated properties, learn how to find the Flex bank account or debit card: Flex For Not Integrated Properties.
Step 2: Add the Payment Method in Your Property’s Rent Portal
- Log in to your property’s rent portal (the website where you usually pay rent).
- Look for the option to “add a new payment method.”
- Enter the bank account or debit card details from the Flex app, making sure the numbers are correct.
- Helpful Tip: If you're asked for extra details like bank name, account type, or billing address, click the “Set up the account in your portal" button, then "More account details” to find that information.
Step 3: Submit Rent
- Once you’ve added the Flex bank account or payment method, use it to pay your rent.
- Double-check the rent amount before you submit it, because Flex will charge exactly what you pay.
- If you have roommates, make sure to only pay your part of the rent.
- The Flex bank account or debit card can only be used for rent payments—no other transactions are allowed.
